This organization was established by entrepreneurs of Rachuonyo East sub county with the main objective of organizing and promoting the welfare and economic interest of its members.

There are very few established financial institutions that provide services to entrepreneurs in the informal sector, which are the main target of REES. The primary targets of REES include, but are not limited to, subsistence farmers, small-scale traders (market vendors) with a focus on women, widows, widowers, youths, vulnerable groups, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) who are not in formal employment.
